Little Shop of Horrors Set Package

The set consists of 3 walls. The upstage wall has shelves which can be removed in the interval to house Pod 4. The stage left wall has a shop window and entrance door, the stage right wall, the stage door. The set includes backing flats and downstage wing flats in brick effect. We also have stage left and right stoops (steps) with railings should you have the space to accommodate them.

There are 4 Audrey 2 pods in our plants package.

Pod One is a glove puppet concealed in a flower pot that sits on top of the shop counter or window sill.
Pod Two is a larger glove puppet attached to Seymour’s jacket. The jacket is one size and tends to fit most people.
Pod Three is like a giant glove puppet that the operator gets inside. This sits inside a flower pot.
Pod Four is a pre-built (no assembly necessary) manually articulated puppet that is operated from behind. The head tilts up and down and moves from side to side. The mouth opens and the lips move via control cords. This plant eats people. When the actor has been eaten the operators tilt the pod up and the actor slides out of the back behind the set. It also comes with grabbing arms operated from behind. These help with the general animation of the plant and to encourage actors to fall into the mouth. Two operators are recommended.
